Flyunder Meet

$78.99

Framed Print

In low evening light, a rolling meet occurs between an inbound GO commuter train, and an outbound Union Pearson airport shuttle. Both trains are rushing through the flyunder that was constructed in the mid-1980's during the transformation and downsizing of Toronto's railway lands to accommodate burgeoning urban development. While the traditional method was to use crossover turnouts to move trains between tracks resulting in lost time, the installation of a double-track flyunder was favoured instead.
